Pray for India was born from a simple conviction: a country this vast and diverse deserves to be known up close — and the pastors who lead its churches deserve serious theological training, in their own language.

He served in India between 2001 and 2005, and when he left the country he left behind a basic training manual in English for local pastors and leaders. Over time, it became clear they needed something far more complete.
In November 2024, back in India, the conviction became firm: these men needed to be trained free of charge, in a way that was deeply biblical and practical — which gave rise to the course now being translated into Hindi, Bengali, and Odia.
For the safety of those who collaborate with the project in India, we keep this profile institutional, without details of church, city, or family.
Just as the 16th-century reformers longed for the simplest peasant to know the Scriptures more deeply than the clergy of their day, our goal in India is equally clear: to train native Indian pastors with a solid, deep, and safe biblical and theological foundation.
